Products from the BIO ACTIVEW family contain one of the purest hypochlorous acid compounds on the market. They are produced on Kirkmayer generators and stabilized based on proprietary technology without adding any substances other than water and salt (NaCl).

HYPOCHLOROUS ACID HAS A 6 TIMES LOWER CARBON FOOTPRINT THAN ALCOHOL DISINFECTANTS
Did you know that disinfectants based on hypochlorous acid have a carbon footprint 6 times lower than alcohol-based hand and surface disinfectants? Carbon dioxide emissions during the production of a 1-liter package of the Bio ActiveW Hands product (a hypochlorous acid-based agent registered for hand disinfection) is 0.19 kg. However, in the case of 1 liter of alcohol disinfectant (70% alcohol concentration), the emission is as much as 1.22 kg of CO2. In both cases, the emissions related to the packaging and label are approximately 0.14 kg CO2/1 liter. The remaining emissions are related to the production of the biocide. Such a large difference between the emissions of hypochlorous acid-based products and alcohol-based products is due to the fact that the latter contain as much as approximately 70% of the active substance. However, products based on hypochlorous acid contain only 0.03-0.05% of the active substance. To produce Bio ActiveW Hands, only 2.5 grams of natural rock salt and 1 liter of water are needed, and the energy consumption is only 7 W.
